Helmet fits great. I used to be an EMT / firefighter and I can't bring myself to wear a novelty helmet. I would not go any lighter in durability than this helmet. The only negative issue I have is that at 50mph or so the helmet sometimes does want to slide back and off the back of my head. Only reason I didn't leave 5 star. My bike doesn't have a windshield on it. I'm never on the highways and pretty much just bar hop with the bike so it's not a huge issue for me. I also have just enough room to wear a ball cap backwards under the helmet which seems to help with the sliding off issue. I'm right in the middle of the size large measurement, I do not have a very wide head so the helmet makes contact with the front and rear of my head with more room on the sides.

Customer service is a 10+! I ordered two Medium helmets. When they arrived one was an XL. I followed the return policy, notifying through email and requesting to return the XL for a refund, advising I’d reorder another Medium. Not only did I receive a response within a few hours, they cancelled my new order, mailed me another Medium helmet AND they said for compensation of sending the wrong size helmet the XL was mine to keep! The helmet looks great but the size is wrong, it says its a small just as i ordered but it is definitely a large as it fits my melon head.I have contacted customer service but have not as yet got a solution to my problem. The helmet is better than most I've seen. But still sits on top your head instead around your head. I wouldn't call it mushroom head, but close. Says it's legal, DOT! If you want a true DOT, than this would be the best for a Bennie helmet.

Well…so far I friggin hate it. Mushroom head is less than other helmets I’ve had, but still kind of a thing. Buffeting at highway speeds, but to be fair I’ve changed my riding posture (using backrest), and my windshield/windscreen may not be tall enough now. So 3 stars for now, I’ll write another review when I get a taller windshield/windscreen.

The style and design is almost perfect. But two things I don’t really care for. The size of the helmet is correct in the small size for me in order for it not to move around at the correct position on my head, I have to wear a backwards hat or it bounces around too much, and when I tighten the strap, it feels like it’s choking me because the strap comes back to my neck more rather than staying under my chin more.
